What to Expect on Sunday

Who we are

Hope Covenant Church is a group of people from all walks of life who are being transformed by Jesus Christ. Every Sunday, we come together to worship God and learn to apply biblical truths in our everyday lives. We also meet during the week in small groups – we call them Grow Groups – to share our lives and challenge each other to walk faithfully with Christ. We are passionate about sharing the love of Christ by caring for each other and positively impacting our community and world.

What to expect

The sign outside our church says, “No perfect people allowed,” and we take that message seriously. We all struggle. We all have good and bad days. But we know Jesus loves us whether we have our lives together or not.

So don't feel like you have to “fix yourself” before you come to Hope. Just come as you are! Feel free to dress as casual or dressy as you want. You might see people in shorts and a T-shirt or in slacks and a button-down. Bottom line: we want you to be comfortable and feel welcomed, loved and accepted.

About our service

We have two services, one at 9:00 am and the other at 10:30 am. We offer children's programs and a nursery, during the service. Adult classes meet during the service.

Our services are about 65-70 minutes. They feature contemporary worship songs and a life-changing message (listen to previous sermons HERE). If you'd like someone to pray for you in person, a team is available at the front of the sanctuary at the end of every service.

What about our children?

HopeKids, the children’s experience at Hope, is designed uniquely for ages birth through fifth grade. While in HopeKids, your child will experience love and careful attention, along with engaging age-appropriate teaching, music and activities all developed to point your child toward a daily relationship with Christ. HopeKids experiences are staffed by dedicated volunteers who will be there to care for and love on your child. HopeKids utilizes a check-in system that ensures a safe environment for your child and also allows for efficient drop-off and pick-up for parents.

All junior and senior high students meet during the 9:00 am worship service in the sanctuary followed by a fun time of connection and learning from the Word of God in the youth rooms. There is even more available for them, with  Sunday evening gatherings for both senior high and junior high students on campus at 5:00 pm each week.
