THE ATTITUDE

Reasons:
1) He was the Favorite Son. (37:3)
2) He was well-built and handsome. (39:6)

Results:
1) He was a tattle-tale. (37:1,2)
2) He got a special coat. (37:3,4)
3) He had a dream. (37:5-8)
4) He had another dream. (37:9-11)

Repercussions:
1) Jealousy (37:1-4)
2) Hatred (37:3,5)
3) Resentment (37:8)

THE ADJUSTMENT 

1) Sold into slavery (37:17-27)
2) Slandered by Potiphar’s wife (39:6-18)
3) Sentenced by Potiphar (39:19-20)

THE AFTERMATH

1) Submissive (41:16)
2) Sympathetic (45:1-3)
