FACING YOUR FEARS

“Facing Your Fear of Loneliness”

Pastor Duane Cross | 11.09.14

I. God has given us his presence to live in.

“Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God?” - 1 Corinthians 6:19

“And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever - the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept Him, because it neither sees him or knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. I will not leave you alone...” - John 14:16-18

“I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness.” - Jeremiah 31:3b

II. God has given us his people to live with.

“Two people are better than one, because they get more done working together. If one falls down, the other can help him up. But it is bad for the person who is alone and falls, because no one is there to help.” - Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

III. God has given us his purpose to live for. Find God’s purpose in your life:

1) Worship

2) Fellowship

3) Discipleship

4) Ministry

5) Mission

“For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God has prepared in advance for us to do.” - Ephesians 2:10

“I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness.” - Jeremiah 31:3b
