“I’M AFRAID OF WHAT THE FUTURE HOLDS”

1) Because life is so uncertain.

“Don’t brag about tomorrow, since you don’t know what that day will bring.” Proverbs 27:1 (NLT)

2) Because life is constantly changing.

3) Because life is uncontrollable.

FEAR BUSTERS: 4 Promises from God’s Word

I. God says He will be with me and my future.

“As I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Joshua 1:5

“I’ll never let you down, never walk off and leave you.” Hebrews 13:5-6

II. God says He will guide me when I’m confused.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6

III. God says He will support me when I’m overwhelmed.

“God’s mercies are new every morning.” Lamentations 3:23

IV. God says He will work all things out for my good and His glory.

“I have good plans for you, not plans to hurt you. I will give you hope and a good future.” Jeremiah 29:11

“We know in everything God works for the good of those who love him...” Romans 8:28

“God is near the broken hearted.” Psalm 34:18
