REPORT FROM SEARCH COMMITTEE

Status:
The Team has been appointed by the Elders. Joy Boydston, Andy Cary, Omar Cifuentes, William DeVaughn, Karen Harbert, Dave Vogt, and Stacey Heimkes will serve.
We met with Paul Wilson – Pacific Southwest Conference Superintendent - to get additional guidance. We are working on creating a profile that will tell candidates about our church and who we are and where we are going.
Sunday, November 15, we asked for feedback from the congregation and have received much input. Thank You! We will have the Search Team Box sitting in the rear of the Worship Center for the next couple weeks. There are forms, or just put your thoughts on paper and drop them in.
The process going forward will be to complete the profile and post it on the Covenant Website in early January. Then we will be ready to receive names and resumes. After that, the timeline is in God’s hands.
We will do phone interviews. If the situation warrants we may send a couple team member to the candidate’s church to see the Pastor in their environment. We may have some travel to Chandler to visit the area and meet with the Team personally.
We will try to keep this site updated with any new information so you can check on it at any time. You are welcome to ask any of the search team for information.
